After at least three months in each of volunteering, developing a skill and being involved in a physical activity in addition to participating in two expeditions, 15 Beal students successfully received their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh certificates and badges this half-term.
The success of the class has meant that the number taking the bronze award has nearly doubled to 26 at the school and the Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award has also been introduced.
The feedback was from the students has been fantastic and the class of 2024 are already underway with their awards.
