A level 3D Design and Fine Art students from The Forest Academy and Beal High School took part in a workshop at ARUP Design Headquarters, London. The project (which is a collaboration between ARUP, Space Gallery Ilford, Artists Super Collider and Friends of the River Roding) will see our students this half term exploring artistic and design solutions in response to the River Roding.
The students met and exchanged ideas concerning environmental design with a range of professionals from ARUP with confidence, proposing exciting ideas. They were a credit to the school and themselves.
The project will culminate with an exhibition in March at Space Gallery Ilford, where the installation in response to the River will be displayed. This project is part of our whole school commitment to Arts excellence.
