Yesterday we hosted the Chess Interschool Finals, and after an intense final match the BMAT champion was Prathik Kathisamy, 8NR, from Beal High School – we won!
The runner-up was Archie Lentzos from TFA, who along with all the finalists, did brilliantly throughout the tournament.
Furthermore, it was wonderful to see all the students get along really well and demonstrate excellent sportsmanship!
18 Year 13 Beal students successfully received their bronze Duke of Edinburgh certificates and badges this half term after completing the three activities
100% are expected to have secured progression routes into post 16 study, including the new BSF Maths school pathway which is being piloted this year.
